This 14 karat white gold diamond engagement ring is a gorgeous blend of modern and classic. The round and baguette diamond sidestones in this setting make a gorgeous accent to your focal top diamond. The setting contains two baguette cut diamonds, one on either side of the focal top marble. These are flanked by three perfectly matched diamonds set in a channel on each side, for a total of six round diamonds. The baguettes are set vertically with a prong land each end steadily just above the band, while the round diamonds are set flush with the band in the mirror-end channel. The edges of the band are subtly squared off and the entire ring has a bright polished end. This setting combines the clean elegance of baguette cut diamonds with the bright sparkle of round diamonds and makes a sophisticated backdrop for your focal top marble.
The diamonds in the setting are a minimum of I in color, I1 in clarity. Since the diamonds are in the near-monochrome range, they should grow perfectly white in the setting. This color should blend well with the color of the focal top diamond, particularly diamonds with an F to J color grade. A focal top diamond with a D or E color grade may show a slight color difference to the I color diamonds in this setting, but it should not be very noticeable to the casual observer. The I1 clarity grade means that it force be possible to see the internal inclusions in the diamonds with the by physically eye, but it is unlikely that the inclusions would be seen with the diamonds mounted in the setting. The diamonds are well cut, with proportions and polish designed to capture the light and sparkle perfectly in the setting.
